Taiwan Agricultural Machinery and Supplies Association

Taiwan Agricultural Machinery and Supplies Association

Company Profile

To continue the hosting of the "Yunlin International Agricultural Machinery and Materials Exhibition," the association was established on April 10, 2020, in Taichung, with the active preparation of many agricultural machinery pioneers. The association's members come from various sectors related to agricultural machinery and materials, including production, manufacturing, repair and sales, academic research, and government agricultural affairs. These members have been contributing to Taiwan's agriculture in their respective roles for many years.

In order to provide a platform for all members to showcase their products, display excellent products to the public, and promote opportunities for members to learn from one another, the association organizes the "Yunlin International Agricultural Machinery and Materials Exhibition" every year at the designated area near the Yunlin High-Speed Rail Station with the support of the Council of Agriculture and the Yunlin County Government.

Looking to the future, the association will actively improve the quality of the exhibition, invite foreign manufacturers to participate, increase diverse learning and observation opportunities for members, and broaden the horizons of domestic farmers in agricultural machinery and materials.

Taiwan has a small arable land area, and with a high degree of industrialization and an aging rural population, this has catalyzed the mechanization and automation of Taiwan's agriculture. The Taiwanese agricultural machinery and materials manufacturers have steadily expanded their market presence to this day.

Most of the association's member manufacturers focus on exports as their primary business and treat domestic sales as a service. They have accumulated valuable experience, which is an intangible asset of Taiwan's agricultural machinery and materials industry. Taiwan’s machining technology is renowned worldwide for its high precision in machine tools and product durability, which guarantees quality. This high-tech manufacturing environment has contributed to Taiwan’s agricultural machinery and various materials having competitive advantages in the international market.

To open up international markets for members' products, the association will actively utilize resources from all sectors, integrate members to enhance participation in international exhibitions, and unite members to adopt a turnkey export model to jointly develop overseas markets.
