The MXBON® Debonder, an adhesive debonder, is mainly used to separate objects bonded by adhesive and to remove residual adhesive. Its main applications include:
★Can be used as a surface cleaner and to remove blooming caused by cyanoacrylate adhseive.
★Applied for surface modification treatments. Be sure to conduct relevant tests before using it for this purpose, to ensure the material and structure are not affected by the solvent.
★Applied for removal of spilled or residual adhesive on the surface. Brush or drop the MXBON debonder onto the spilled or residual adhesive surface and completely cover it for best removal results. The time depends on the amount of glue, usually between 5~30 minutes. When the spilled or residual adhesive softens, a relatively hard object can be used for its removal.
★Applied for separation of two bonded materials. The whole bonded workpiece is soaked in a large amount of MXBON debonder, but consider whether it will adversely affect the material of the workpiece itself. The time depends on the size of the workpiece, bonding gap, and bonding area, usually between 60~120 minutes. When the bonding surface appears to be softening or loosening, the bonded workpiece can be disassembled. If difficulties persist, please soak again. When soaking repeatedly, add new MXBON debonder over time.
