In the 1950s, our association recognized the importance of product standardization. As a result, we established a Product Quality Inspection Committee and set up a small-scale laboratory equipped with basic instruments for paint testing. Initially, due to the small scale, the laboratory was located at the office of each president. Later, in order to further participate in product standardization, the current Director of the Research and Development Laboratory, Mr. Chou Ming-Fa, has been involved in the revision and development of national standards with your bureau since 1973 and continues to participate to this day.
