The association was established on June 25, 1946 (Republic of China 35), with Mr. Huang Xinhua as the first chairman. The current chairman is Mr. Guo Mingqin, serving in the 18th term. The third chairman was Mr. Gao Yushu, who also served as the Mayor of Taipei. Under the leadership of each chairman, the association has laid a solid foundation. The tradition of emphasizing ethics and being dedicated to public welfare has not only made the association an outstanding social organization recognized by the government but also a platform for connecting national members and international hardware industry professionals.
