Thirty years ago, our association was originally a part of the Machinery Association's Molding Group. Due to suggestions from industry partners, we decided to form the Molds Association, focusing on representing the mold industry and serving as a bridge for industry, government, academia, and research. We were fortunate to have the full support of Mr. Kuo-Chin, the then Chairman of the Machinery Association, and the assistance of Mr. Kai-Li Weng from Creative Company, Mr. Yao-Fang from Taiwan Fuji Company, and Mr. Chih-Feng Hsu from Fote-Pak Company. After six months of traveling around the country, gathering opinions, and receiving guidance from Mr. Shih-Chien Yang of the Industrial Development Bureau, we officially established the "Taiwan Molds Industry Association" on October 19, 1990.
